I’m Clarissa and I live in Spokane, Washington. By day, I’m a medical laboratory scientist. I began making soap for myself in 2014 because I wanted a more user friendly, eco-conscious take on natural soap to ease my complex skin needs.
My vision is to raise consciousness of how we treat our planet and how we treat ourselves. Our healthy, eco-friendly bath and body essentials are vegan, ethically and locally sourced and are effective on your skin and gentle on our planet.

I’m Clarissa and I'm the founder and owner of Grunge Goddess Soapworks. I live in Spokane, Washington and I'm a mother, safe person, audiophile/musician, homesteader, creative, not-a-survivor-but-a-thriver, and mystic. By day, I’m a medical laboratory scientist.
With a degree in chemistry, I've been formulating and making my own bath and body products since 2014. I needed a more user friendly, eco-conscious, and exciting take on natural soap to ease my complex skin needs. Then I created Grunge Goddess in 2018 to share the fun!
My mission is to provide healthy, eco-friendly bath and body essentials inspired by all things music and counter-culture.
My vision is to raise consciousness of how we treat our planet and how we treat ourselves.
My promise is not only to create grunge-busting goodies, but to help fund charitable causes, too. Five percent of each Grunge Goddess sale goes to organizations that work towards improving mental health, social equality, and preserving the music scene. (For instance, past donations have gone to ACLU, To Write Love On Her Arms, and Keep Music Live Washington.)
